Does revenue management make sense for your hotel?
30 minutes with a revenue professional who assesses your hotel instead of selling you something
You get an honest assessment of where your hotel is leaving profit on the table, where effort is created that shouldn't be, and whether working together makes sense for your house at all. In writing, ready to work with, even if you never come back to us.
Does one of these sound familiar?
We don't start with our offer. We start with what currently hurts in your hotel.
Occupancy is fine, the result is not
The house is full, but costs, staffing and workload grow faster than the bottom line. The question is not how to sell even more rooms, but how much of every room sold stays with you.
Too many tasks, too few specialists
Rates, channels, restrictions and reporting are handled on the side, often late in the evening. You are not looking for another position to fill, but for someone who takes this area over properly.
The tools are there, the daily work with them is not
A system makes no decisions. With us you don't get another piece of software, you get the service: our specialists work with our own revenue management system and with your existing interfaces. You operate nothing and still see everything.
Revenue, reservations and sales sit in one position
Hospitality roles are advertised exactly like that today: reservations and revenue in one, front office and sales in one. Add group enquiries, back office and support for the management. In a large hotel with many categories and strong competition, that cannot be covered, neither professionally nor in terms of time.
Distribution has no foundation
Distribution means: where is your hotel offered, where can it be found, and can it be booked there properly. The best rate is worthless if nobody sees it. Exactly this foundation is missing in many hotels while campaigns already run on top of it.
The rate is high, the processes behind it have simply grown
Charging high rates means delivering along the entire booking journey: from being found, through the enquiry, to the confirmation. In upscale and boutique properties in particular, this path decides whether the rate is accepted.
What we talk about in those 30 minutes
Everything between your room and the result in your books.
Revenue and yield management
Rates, restrictions, demand steering, forecasting, daily optimisation across all channels.
Digital sales and distribution
Channels, visibility, OTA management, booking journey, direct bookings, tracking. Distribution, not creative marketing: driven by numbers and data.
Consulting and controlling
Commercial assessment, key figures, structure, a basis for your decisions.
You have one point of contact for all of it. That person leads the team behind them and brings in the right expertise, instead of passing you on to assistants. Consulting is not an add-on, it is part of the ongoing work.
We start with the basics, not with the pretty things
We are not a creative agency. We take care of the things that look unspectacular and still decide whether a hotel sells reliably: clean data, maintained channels, working booking paths, clear processes, reliable reporting.
That matters more than ever. What does not exist cannot be automated. A process nobody has defined will not get faster through any tool. Campaigns and a beautiful presence only work once this foundation is in place.

What is a potential analysis for hotels?
A potential analysis for hotels is a structured assessment of how much additional profit a property can realistically achieve when rates, demand, distribution channels and costs are managed professionally. It is based on the hotel's own key figures, above all ADR, occupancy and RevPAR, compared with properties of a similar category and location.
At TourSol this analysis is free, takes 30 minutes and is at the same time our own check of whether we can actually achieve something for your hotel.

- Because he leads the team that would later work for your hotel
- Because he takes the time, without sales pressure

Good preparation, good conversation
To make those 30 minutes worthwhile, we need a few basic figures from you. Which ones is set out in our checklist.
You can request the checklist directly. Or you book your appointment right away and we send it with the confirmation.

What's on the checklist?
- Your key figures: ADR, occupancy, RevPAR, and where to find them
- Where your hotel is sold today, and through which channels
- What setup sits behind it, from the booking journey to the interfaces
- Whether tracking and reporting exist, and who reads them
- Where you advertise and with what result
- Which contracts and conditions you have with channels and partners
- Your competitive situation at your location
What you take away
🎯 Quick wins
Three to five measures you can implement immediately, even without us
📊 Benchmark
Where does your hotel stand compared with similar properties in your category and region?
💡 Assessment
Realistic rather than flattering: what is achievable for you, and what is not?
📝 Write-up
Everything in writing, to read again and to share with your team
Which hotels we work with
When the conversation is worth it
- Your hotel has around 20 rooms or more, or you run several properties
- A relevant share of your revenue comes through OTAs or your own booking engine
- Your structure is demanding: many room categories, several segments, strong competition at your location
- You want to hand over workload and professionalise this area
- You are ready to share your figures and to work with us
- Your operation runs cleanly, service and quality are in place
When we say no
- When the operation is not under control. Weak reviews, service issues, poor reachability or bookability cannot be repaired with rates
- When figures and access are not shared. Without insight we cannot work
- When a guaranteed number is expected. We do not give one, because it depends on factors nobody can seriously promise
- When we already look after a property of the same category in the same region. We do not put our clients against each other
That sounds strict, but it is fair. We would rather say no in advance than cost someone months and money without being able to move anything.
An audit comes before any cooperation
If both sides want to continue after the first conversation, we look at your operation in a structured way: figures, channels, visibility, bookability, processes. Only then do we say whether and with what we can achieve something for your hotel.
We work as partners and for the long run. That is why we do not start at all when the basics for it are missing.
What happens after the 30 minutes
You receive your written assessment. You can work with it, on your own, with your team or with another partner. No subscription, no follow-up loop, no contract in the background.
If it fits, we talk about working together. What our revenue management service looks like day to day is set out on the service page. Why hotels hand revenue management to a service provider instead of buying yet another piece of software is explained in our article, and how the daily rate steering behind it works is covered in our piece on yield management in hotels.
Ready? Then choose an appointment
No hidden costs, no obligation. A conversation between professionals, after which you know more about your hotel than before.
Quiz: what type of revenue manager are you?
The perfect start if you are not ready for a conversation yet. In two minutes you find out where your strengths are and which quick wins you can implement straight away.
Frequently asked questions
What does the potential analysis cost?
Nothing. It is free and without obligation. We invest the time because it is the fastest way to see whether working together makes sense for both sides.
We already have a revenue management system. Is it still worth it?
Yes. An RMS is a tool, not expertise. You can keep yours and we will work with it. You don't need it either, because we bring our own system with the Hospitality Suite. Many hotels save the licence cost that way and get the service instead of software.
We have someone for revenue and sales. Does that work together?
Yes. We replace nobody, we work with your structure. In many hotels revenue, distribution and marketing sit in a single position, sometimes on top of daily operations. In a large or complex property that cannot be covered, neither professionally nor in terms of time. We then take over the areas that would otherwise be left undone, such as daily rate steering, OTA management or forecasting.
Does everything run automatically then?
Partly, but never unattended. Our system works automatically, and it is steered and controlled by our revenue managers, 365 days a year. When the market moves, we see it and decide. Automated pricing tools often rely on narrow data sets, which makes rates at a location converge. That does not create an advantage.
From what size is it worth it?
As a rule from around 20 rooms, or with several properties. More decisive than the number of rooms is how much of your revenue is generated digitally, how complex your structure is, meaning categories, segments and competition at your location, and how professionally this area is managed today.
Which figures do you need from me?
Essentially ADR, occupancy and RevPAR for the past months. Plus an overview of your distribution: where your hotel is sold, what setup sits behind it, whether tracking and reporting exist, where you advertise and which contracts you have with channels and partners. It is all in the checklist. Request it, or simply book the appointment and we send it along.
Is this a sales call?
No. You get an assessment and concrete measures you can implement without us. Whether it becomes more than that is your decision afterwards, in your own time.
No time for preparation?
No problem. Give us a call and in five minutes we will clarify whether and how we can help.
